The Saloona Artists Group display their work once again at their old joint, "Saloona Bar Lounge." The group went back to work with more promises to fulfill, in different places and with different friends.
After nearly three years of work, the artists in the group allowed themselves to come full circle in an intimate exhibition, in the place where their partnership began, a new experience for them, too. Following meetings saturated with alcohol, stormy debates, artists coming and going…a new kind of experience immerged, a sort of group patriotism for the journey and for the group. The original theme for this current exhibition was the New Year resolution…which inspired self-examination among most of the artists.
Adam Sher paints an image from an old advertisement for wigs and raises the question of relativity in beauty.
Other participants: Vered Adir, Shachar Marcus, Rena Reznikov-Rosenthal, Deddy Lifschitz, Keren Shpilsher, Natan Dvir, Jewboy, Yael Omer, Sharon B.H. and Tali Navon. |

| Adam Sher's embalmed images are realistically copied from miniature Disney plastic figurines found in a dump and bought by the pound. The markings of time are apparent in them. They lack gloss, glamour or joy and appear to be scaly, bleeding, facing destruction. Sher grants new strength to these images. He removes them from their natural habitat and isolates them; taking them out of proportion to a full size enlargement and having them confront the viewer at eye level... |

| The City Spots series was ‘born’ by Adam Sher while living in New York, inspired by the everyday life of this metropolitan. In this series, Sher presents the outcome of wondering around a big city, and visual conclusions of observation in an urban setting. Sher gives into this wandering and the surprises that it brings along the way, and by doing so answers the adventurous impulse known to us from the backpackers' trips in the wild... |

| The exhibition relates to the fields of food and nutrition and what could be more natural than to display it at "High Touch", a space that holds prestigious kitchen designs. Amid the participating artists, we found photographs, drawings, embroidery, three-dimensional and video installations, which take part in the local social dialogue while taking on the food path, its representation and marketing... |

The exhibition examines the concept of ‘time’. Adam Sher paints a child playing with a hair dryer. The work shows a child on the brink of adulthood, while at the same time emphasizing the contrast between children and adults who would turn back time and become young again.
The presenting artists alongside Adam Sher were Keren Shpilsher, Natan Dvir, Sasha Serber, Sharon B.H., Rena Reznikov, Meital Katz-Minerbo, Yael Omer and Jewboy.

The world’s biggest exhibition, 240 art works, illustrating Tel Aviv street names, was covering the facade of the City Hall of Tel Aviv-Yafo. The works have been created by 200 artists and each measures 400 x 300 centimeters, similar to the building’s windows. They have been auctioned and the proceeds will go towards the encouragement of Tel Aviv’s art and artists.
Adam Sher has painted George Nasser, a Christian Arab that lived in Jaffa. Nasser, a socialist, was the first Arab judge in Israel and worked intensively to bring Arabs and Jews together.
Sher has painted Nasser using a fusion of Christian iconography and the style of posters from the days of socialist propaganda. Beside Nasser stand an Arab and a Jewish worker - their positions illustrating the spirit of peace which was Nasser's most devout hope.

| “Haboydem,” a Yiddish term meaning an upper floor storage area, was a collection of solo exhibitions by different artists. Adam Sher was the first to present his own collection, including works from different periods and works from two series, “City Spots” and “Toy Story.”

| The exhibition examined the term “neighborhood” as understood by the curator and by each of the artists. Reflecting pop art and retro trends along with a hint of kitsch, the works blended into their surroundings while at the same time aspired to exist in other living rooms... |

| This group exhibition took place Saloona, an exhibition and leisure space designed as separate sitting areas, each evoking a private, cozy living room. Each artist exhibited in a different sitting area modified to reflect his or her vision, thus creating individual experiences for the spectators. By entering what felt like an artist’s private living space, the viewer could form a connection with that artist... |

| A reflection of urban lifestyle in art and design, this multimedia event was initiated and produced by Adam Sher and Irit Baniel, a New York-based fashion designer. The center of this performance art event was a presentation of clothing based on Sher's "City Spots" paintings. The clothing design incorporated graphic elements from Sher's work to create a camouflage-type outfit for an urban environment...
